My name is Ragav and before I say anything else, I kindly request you to avoid disturbing my serene delusion about me being an artist.
I’m avidly interested in writing and photography, but I’m more of a scientist. That said, if I were to run through a triathlon involving these three fields, I would count on my writing skills to save me from getting creamed.
As a scientist my primary field of interest is in Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience. I like to call myself a scientist but truth be told I’m only at the beginning of my journey to the point where I can call myself a scientist and still be honest.
As a photographer I’m not interested in making money off what I do. I do what I do just for the fun of it but if I do end up making money, I wouldn’t mind terribly. I do run around chasing my friends and annoying them with the clicks of my DSLR but my core skills are in aesthetic photography, mainly involving nature. I’m yet to understand the art of conceptual photography but I have great fascination for it. I tend to notice things that others around me miss and I believe this makes me a great photographer. [Shhh! Remember what I said at the beginning!]
As a writer, I do tend to do best when it comes to dealing with deep and personal subject matter although I wouldn’t say I write only pieces of that kind. Like most secretive writers I am hesitant to show my work to anyone while it’s being worked on and sometimes I wouldn’t even show it when it’s done. What you will find in this website are mostly spontaneous pieces that I lilke to share with others. They are neither the best of my works nor are they the most significant but that doesn’t make them either lowly or insignificant. What you’ll find, if you are appreciative of creative literature, is that they’re quite original and creative. I honestly mean that.
Whie I love writing pages and pages on my interests and indulge in narcissistic vanity, I’m sure you have other pressing matters to engage in, such as dropping your jaw at the beauty I’ve so masterfully created. So, cheerios!
